Riccall United Football Club are always looking for ways to grown and strengthen their committee. If you feel as though you are the type of person who could help drive the club forward, please use the 'contact us' page as your first point of contact.

 

If you wanted a specific role within the club, we are currently looking for the following positions to be filled. JOB TITLE: Head of Junior Football / Junior Football Co-ordinator

This role will be a crucial role for the club. It means that the Club Committee can gain genuine feedback from the junior section as a whole.

 

The role has several key responsibleness, including to:

 

  • Develop a junior football training programme to ensure that we get the very best out of every single junior player in our football club.

  • To listen to our parents/carers/coaches/players, gaining feedback to help improve their experience at the club.

  • Attend monthly committee meetings, providing feedback on the junior section.

  • Attend coaching sessions and matches, offering support to coaches and players by leading drills/warm ups/providing feedback to players.

 

There are also further opportunities to:

 

  • Create a young leader programme as a way to develop our older players into coaches.

  • Organise intra and inter club football events.

  • Organise social events.

What you need to apply:

  • Enhanced DBS Check

  • FA First Aid and Safeguarding Children Qualification

  • At least FA Level 1 Football Coaching

JOB TITLE: Volunteer Co-Ordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator’s role is making sure a strong volunteering culture exists within clubs. Their focus is on ensuring that everyone who volunteers at the club feels valued, developed and supported and has the confidence and knowledge to undertake their roles to the best of their ability. The volunteer co-ordinator will also lead on the recruitment of volunteers for new and existing roles within the club. The Volunteer Co-ordinator will liaise with the committee.

  • Act as the initial point of contact for current and potential volunteers

  • Prepare a Welcome Pack for new volunteers introducing them to your club

  • Give volunteers support, guidance and encouragement

  • Maintain a log with the details of active volunteers within the club

JOB TITLE: Sponsorship Secretary

The Sponsorship Secretary is primarily responsible for helping to maintain and promote current sponsors, as well as to try and find other suitable sponsors.

The main duties of the  include:

  • Developing a sponsorship package/strategy for the club

  • Identifying available sponsorship opportunities

  • Ensuring that all sponsorships are logged/recorded and commitments are adhered to according to the terms of the respective sponsorship agreements.

JOB TITLE: Grants & Funding Officer

The role will involve researching and applying for grants and other funding opportunities. Revenue from these sources are crucial for the club to grow and to continue providing an opportunity, for the children of Riccall and the surrounding area, to play football.

The roles main responsibleness include:

• Applying for grants / sponsorship or other forms of financial assistance from organisations such as Sport England/ Football Foundation, Local Authorities or commercial companies;

• Helping to co-ordinate fund-raising events, possibly two major events a year.

• Ensuring events and activities are properly licensed with local authorities.

• Promoting fund-raising activities in press.

• Working with the treasurer to ensure that funds are properly accounted for.

• Selling of lottery style draws/raffles/etc.
